Come join us for Sunday School every Sunday morning at 10 am.  Our classes are enjoying the great stories and lessons from the Bible.

"Bee" attitudes is our theme for Sunday School.  We are learning, through games and activities that many of our Christian behaviors are gifts from God,  the fruit of the Spirit.  The children are also collecting trading cards.  Each card tells part of an important Bible story.  For November we will be talking about giving and Thanksgiving concentrating on our Operation Christmas Child mission.  December we will be enjoying the Christmas story and working on our Christmas program.  Our Sunday School continues to be a great a story hour.  Our stories will be those that the great storyteller, Jesus, shared with his followers.

We are always striving to build our faith team with faithfullness, courage, forgiveness and honesty.  One of our class projects includes creating interesting and beautiful bulletin boards.  New recruits are always welcome, as well as, new ideas to build faith.

Our Adult Sunday School Class teacher is Sharon Diehl.  Ann Harris and Shireen McGovern provide Morning leadership.

At the present time we are having a study on “Revealing the Mysteries of Heaven” by Dr. David Jeremiah.  Heaven is mentioned more than 500 times in the scriptures.  We all have our ideas and beliefs about what awaits us, but as Dr. Jeremiah says, “the truth is we can never approximate all that God has prepared for us in our heavenly home.  And we cannot recreate heaven on earth!”

Our class is open to researching any topic, and there is always room to grow!

Vacation Bible School is usually held the week following the school year in June, Monday through Friday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00.  The themes for Vacation Bible School are quite interesting and provide wonderful Bible stories.  The children also participate in making crafts and playing games keeping with the lesson themes.  All children age 3 through grade 6 are welcome.

The Bushkill/Chapman’s Youth Group is open to everyone in middle school and high school.  We are a small group but you’d never know it by the work we do in the community and congregation.  This is a very special group of kids who are making names for themselves in both churches.

We are always looking for more members and now is a great time to join us.  We plan many great activities throughout the year.  We start it off on the first weekend of the year with a trip to the youth rally in Ocean City, MD.

Above are pictures of the Annual December Lock Up of the Bushkill/Chapman's Youth Group, a fund raiser for furnishing a complete Christmas Dinner for needy families.  Youth Group members were "arrested" and taken to Chapman's "jail".  They were held there and allowed one phone call to someone who was able to post bail, which consisted of an entire meal for a needy family.

Youth Group Award received for Outstanding and Dedicated Service to the Community.
